WINEMAKERS COMMENTS
Typical Marlborough characters jump out of the glass Fresh lime and grapefruit are followed by lightly tropical and herbaceous aromas. Barrel and lees ageing has provided complexity, with hints of nutmeg, wet stones and lightly roasted almonds. The palate is dry and medium bodied with a crisp, vibrant acidity and chalky, long finish.
VINTAGE
The 2024 Marlborough grape harvest was characterized by low yields due to poor flowering but resulted in high-quality fruit with intense flavours, thanks to dry, warm conditions and cool nights during the growing season. This combination of factors led to an early start, minimal disease pressure, and the production of excellent wines.
